I had this horrible period pain which came and went regularly, causing me discomfort the whole night thru as this was the first day of my menses.

| permalink Since I bought the Station One coupons from a door-to-door salesman in USJ2, I've been trying to utilize the coupons at every meal opportunity till I drove Kevin up the wall... haha! Literally! :P My eldest sister, Sharon, came down to Klang tonite with her family (Stuart & Jamie) to have dinner with Esther & I as well as Kevin. Segregated the Elken products to them. Since it is Kevin's birthday today and he was working till 4am, I decided to wait up for him. His company van dropped him off close to about 5am, so I went to pick him up from the bus stop. And I surprised him with a new Samsung mobile phone (clam shell masculine black). He was so surprised that I bought him a mobile phone. He likes clam shell phones especially Samsung. Love him to bits!

Christmas celebrations!
This year, Kevin and I didn't spend Christmas eve together even though he wasn't working that night. Tammy & Poh Choo had plans to count down Christmas in Flam Cafe in Sunway Pyramid but Kevin didn't feel like going clubbing. But he was alright & cool about us spending Christmas eve apart with our different sets of friends. So I went clubbing with Tammy & Poh Choo while he went to watch movie in Summit with Mex, Jax & Lala. On Christmas night itself, Kevin & I went out with my ex-Taylor's mates, i.e. Ivy, Chin Yew & his girlfriend, Michelle, Sarah, Leslie & his girlfriend, Jacy Wong (tak berapa kenal, only met her like twice including this time) & Sonia Lim (oso tak berapa kenal one but I remember seeing her face around in Taylor's last time la). We makan-ed at Jarrods & Rawlins restaurant at Jalan Dungun, Damansara Heights. Well, the food there wasn't exactly fantabulous! The bill came up to RM350! That was soooo dear juz for a few German sausages, bacon, olives, and a bottle of red wine which Kevin & I didn't take. And the food wasn't filling at all! Well, at least I got to spend time with my darling on Christmas. I love him so much no matter what ppl think or say!

Helpless & clueless
This morning after breakfast with my colleagues, I saw a crowd of ppl near my car and I oso kepoh la to see what was going on. An old man fell down and his whole right side of his face was covered in blood!!! I stood frozen and panicked, I din know wat to do also. I wanted to help but I felt so scared... Luckily those ppl there gave him tissues and helped him clean his blood with mineral water.
I have a first aid kit in my car, I wanted to give but when I opened it, there's no medication i.e. no antiseptic or whatsoever, only plasters and gauss. I think he tried to cross the longkang and fell and hit the Avanza parked there. I wanted to call the nearest medical centre for ambulance but I didn't know the number. I wanted to offer to send him to the nearest hospital but another man offered first (thank God!).
I juz realized then that in times of crisis like this, I am helpless & clueless (as put it by Tammy). I'm not trained for emergencies, crises, tragedies, etc. And the stupid first aid kit this Perodua provided has NOTHING!! Not properly equipped! Only plasters and gauss and cotton as well as panadol but no antiseptic to clean wound at all!! All the while I tak pernah open it before. It was still wrapped in plastic bag this morning when the incident happened. When I ripped the plastic open and opened the stupid first aid box, I found out that it's not well-equipped.
I never really saw emergencies this close before where I had a chance to make a difference but I didn't, sigh!

With Christmas approaching...
Yesterday (December 20th, 2006) my colleague, Jenny & I went to Pantai Medical Centre in Bangsar to meet our respective customers. After that, we had some free time, we decided to have a drink in the Starbucks outlet in Pantai. She belanja-ed me Hot Mocha while she had Coffee of the Day which was some black coffee. After having drank only half of the Hot Mocha, I suddenly had this really excruciating tummy ache. I didn't know if it had anything to do with the mocha drink or not. Haha! :P So I went to the toilet and did my "thang"! Jenny was busy-ing herself with the celebrity gossips on my HOT magazine.

He saved my skin yet another time
How would you feel if someone you don't really like/fancy keeps saving your ass/skin/life time & again?I dunno what to feel. I juz feel like a lucky bitch! I can't go on cheating death & getting away with murder all the time. Yet, I get into trouble most of the time. Or I should say, trouble finds me eventually. And there he is... coming to my rescue!I juz feel so grateful & ashamed of myself! Hah! It's true! Thank you for alwiz being there, Mr. Lee tho I'll never let you know the truth about me. Bad dream!
Juz woke up earlier with a nightmare! I dreamt that Selangor & KL were taken over by some maniac political opposition party called DVF. Dun ask me wat it stands for. LOL! My dream didn't take me there.Anyway, this DVF crazies wanted the ppl in KL & Selangor to have a logo burnt into their bodies where it was visible to DVF authorities so that it would be easier for identification purposes. And I was in a building where lots of ppl were hiding including old folks and fat Malay ladies wearing baju kurung. Haha. I remember Edalin, Fung Ying & Kevin being in the same building with me. And then Edalin left for somewhere and never came back. I knew she had already bought her way out of all this shit.
The logo stamping process was taking place for the ppl on the streets and we were watching in horror as some ppl had their mouths stamped in burning metal. Others had the logo on their arms. As we watched this, the door to the room where we were all hiding was being harshly pushed. It was the DVF ppl, trying to get in, which they finally did in the end. So we were asked to walk out of the room in an orderly manner. We were given a form each to be passed to the person who would "logo-fy" us. Kevin pulled me aside. He told me that only the rich and influential could save us by buying us out. Plan B was that he would keep my form with him so that when it was my turn to be stamped, I could say that my form was with Kevin just to stall time for escape. And then he said he'd try to make his escape by taking up a job in Malacca where Barisan Nasional ruled. So I immediately called Edalin and begged her to help Kevin & I out. I even cried so badly.Edalin promised that she would try to talk to her dad. But help never came for us. Shortly after that, I woke up from this weird nightmare. Well, it reminded me of a movie which I watched with my mom many years back in church during ths Sunday night service. It was called The Rapture, where this girl dreamt that the world was taken over by some party where if ppl didn't join them, they would be shot to death on the spot. When they joined the party, they must bear a logo on their body. And then, the girl woke up from her dream only to find her nightmare had just begun. She only dreamt about it in mere seconds before it happened. Scaryyyyy!!! *Gulp!*

Seed of Darkness
Yesterday night was the launch party of the horror flick, Seed of Darkness starring Wong Sze Zen, Amber Chia, Alvin Wong & Vick Teo (who was Malaysian Idol 1st runner-up for Season One). The venue was Zouk KL. Got free tickets for the launch party from Stephanie Lee (who used to work in Vision College but has left to join Buena Vista Columbia Tristar).
The dress code for the party was HORROR but we didn't dress up. Eh, how to find costumes, man! :P But as we walked into Zouk, the escort said they could make us up to look like ghosts & ghouls, which we politely declined. Muahahahaha! Thanks but no thanks! :P
The launch party started at 8.30pm till 11pm. After that, Zouk was open to the public. Amber Chia came about 10.30pm and set the cameras flashing. She was so much skinnier in person! Beautiful lands & people upnorth
I was supposed to be in Alor Star, Kedah from December 5th - 13th, 2006 to assist in an ultrasound course and also perform a demo to Hospital Sungai Petani. So on December 5th, Scott drove the 5-seater van up with Kaz and I as his lovely passengers. Hehe! We stopped by Ipoh for brunch. Scott brought us to the famous & original Ipoh old town kopitiam where we had Ipoh "pak kar fay" and also famous Ipoh pork balls in soup. Yummy-licious! =) 
We finally reached Alor Star after 8 long hours' drive. Phew! It was a miracle I could stay up the entire journey considering I had only 3 hours of sleep the night before. I kept myself awake to speak to Scott along the way cuz I was afraid he'd fall asleep driving upnorth in such long hours if Kaz & I slept.
When we reached Alor Star, we were going round & round searching for the hotel that Ravin had booked us in. Oh ya, Ravin came to Alor Star one day earlier than us (04-12-06). And then I saw this place which looked sooo familiar... like I'd seen it somewhere before though it was juz my first time to Alor Star seriously! It came to me suddenly that I'd seen it before in my dream many years back. But in my dream, it was nightfall already. But it looked exactly the same as the place in the pic above. I had mixed feelings then but it was a good feeling.
On December 7th, 2006, Scott and I drove up to Kangar, Perlis to deliver back the ultrasound machine (SA8000SE) to Hospital Tuanku Fauziah. This was my first time to Kangar. I had finally arrived, hehehe. Last year December 2005, my company sent me to Kangar to personally hand in an ultrasound tender and PR with the O&G doctors here. Manatau, I missed the flight so I ended up not being able to go to Kangar. And I sent in the tender document via courier and hid at home for 2 days (the days I was supposed to be in Kangar). I couldn't tell my bosses that I missed the flight cuz they'd kill me and make me pay for the flight ticket.
So at least now I knew how the Kangar general hospital actually looked like. I went to the hotel which I supposedly "stayed" in during my 2 days in Kangar. Haha! :P So now if ever anyone asks me about Kangar, etc, I'd have some opinions. LOL!
The hotel I supposedly "stayed" in when I was in Kangar, Dec 2006! :P Since Scott and Kaz would be leaving on the very next day back to KL, we decided to go to a decent Chinese restaurant to have dinner. We managed to find a decent looking one in Alor Star, hehe. Kaz & Ravin had beers but Scott was driving so he didn't drink. And as for me, I didn't drink too cuz I am no good in drinking.
Ravin and I went jalan-jalan in the flea market nearby our hotel in Alor Star after work on December 8th, 2006 (Scott & Kaz had probably reached KL by then). And I bought this new pair of shades of me which I'd been wanting for so long though I thought I looked like Michael Jackson in those shades. Haha! I bought Ravin a pair of shades too, he chose the design, of course! The shades only cost RM10 each pair.
Me trying out my new shades in my hotel room. And no, I wasn't completely naked at that time! :P The very next morning, which was a Saturday (09-12-06), Ravin and I left for Sungai Petani. Since it was our first time here, we searched high & low & frantically for available hotel rooms which were within our budget (less than RM80 per night as per stated by our stingypoker company). Most of the hotel rooms were fully booked. We finally found availability in this hotel which cost RM60 per night. We checked in immediately. Phew! We could rest & relax finally! :)
The next day (10-12-06), we delivered the X4 ultrasound system to the new Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim (HSAH) for a demo to Dr. June. At first, alot of MOs came to use the X4 and I helped them out with the buttons & the functions of the X4. After some time, none of them came in to the ultrasound room anymore. So to kill time, Ravin played games on his laptop beauty while I did what I enjoyed most... CAMWHORING! :P Hehehehehehe!
Ok lah, actually I took a whole lotta pics while I was camwhoring in the ultrasound room of HSAH. But I only decided to upload 4 best ones here. I didn't wanna clutter my space here :P Later that evening, we went back to our hotel room to nap before dinner. But I woke up shortly cuz I was feeling a lil hungry but Ravin was still sleeping. So I made cup noodles.

A happy but noisy family
Since Sharon bought yesterday's dinner in Klang, I decided that we should pay her a visit tonight and eat somewhere around ss2 (near her place). So Esther dropped by Kevin's place after her class and we all drove to ss2 in mom's Kembara to meet Sharon up. We had dinner in none other than New Paris. Food was good... yummy-licious! =)
Had a great time there, hanging out with my family. We were so noisy but it wasn't obvious cuz usually in Chinese food stalls like New Paris, everybody IS noisy! LOL! Oh yeah, our handsome couz, Chan Kian Nam, oso was with us for dinner. He was there to help out Sharon in her holiday program in ss2 Yew Ee. Esther used mom's money to pay for tonight's dinner. Thanks, mom! =)
